First you have to take into account the financial situation of your family. Is the reason your mom doesn't want a cat because she doesn't have the money to pay for it? Keep in mind that there are many things you will need to pay for to have a happy, healthy kitty. Spaying/neutering is super important unless you want to end up with another batch of kittens that will have to go to the humane society. There are shots. Vet check-ups. Food. Litter. If you aren't sure whether you and your mom will be able to afford all of that, then you may need to rethink. Second, do you know what you will do if your mom WON'T let you keep the kitten? Do you have the money to afford to take it to the humane society (they charge an entry fee) rather than the pound (which doesn't charge a fee) where the kitten is more likely to get euthanized? Do some research on no-kill shelters and low-kill shelters so you can find the best possible place to bring the kitten if it turns out you can't keep it. Third, be prepared to take complete responsibility for the kitten. Feed it, scoop its litter. If you have money, go out in advance and buy it food bowls and litter tray- this will help show your mom that you are prepared to take care of it and use your own money when necessary. Overall, I don't disagree with what you're doing- shelters are overcrowded and cats may end up dying if taken there- but you have to be absolutely sure that you will have the money to properly care for the cat, and that you won't just let your mom shoulder the burden of paying for it/feeding it etc. If you want the kitten, you need to take COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY for it. And if your mom really doesn't want it, don't argue with her- it's her house. Just make sure to bring it somewhere where it has less chance of getting killed.

You should of talked to your parents about the kitten. That was not right at all. TWO kittens are a lot of work!!! They need to go out, they might meow. You can't just pretend they don't exist. Tell your parents! Don't hide the kitten. How would you feel if you had to be hidden??? Let your parents know!

you shouldn't hide pets from your parents. what are you going to do about food and a litter box. and if you're keeping them in your room, they might sneak out when your mom gets the laundry or the door isn't shut all the way. then you'll be in big trouble. you should just tell her that you have them and that you'll take care of them, but you must follow through. also if she wants you to find a home for them. make her a deal. if you can't find a home in a month or so, you get to keep them. that's how i got to keep my cats

As a parent myself, you stood a much better shot of eventually being able to have one before going behind your moms back and purposely disobeying her, which only reinforces your immaturity. Fess up and help her find new homes for them.

Give them back to the people you got them from, or take them to your local shelter.
There is no way you will be able to hide two kittens. Why on earth would you go behind your parents' back?

your parents will find out sooner or later, so you might as well just tell them, so they can either change thier minds about letting you have cats, or so they can take them to an animal shelter for you.

I would talk to my parents and see if you can keep them and if they say no then you need to find a home for them.

don't hide them from your parents. the longer you have them, the madder they'll get when they find out. tell them you've gotten very attached to them and do things for your parents to show you are responsible enough to have animals.
