I think a good, intelligent conversation beats a pick up line any day. But I did see a rather unnattractive 70 year old man go up to a 38 year old woman and say "You make my eyes very very happy". She was his the rest of the night. Doesn't say alot for her, but it was a funny line.

I hate to say this to you but it quite simple:
if a girl likes you then *any* simple pickup line will do, unless it is just utterly awful.
On the other hand, if she is not interested in you there is no pickup line that can help you...The good side of that is that you get to move on quickly...

You should either say something thats purposely cheesy so that she laughs or just say something interesting that isn't directly telling her that you want to hook up with her. Some girls will give you a chance with just introducing yourself. The ones that know they are really hot usually think thats too boring though.

well i had a guy come up to me and say "if you were a screen door id slam you all day" it was pretty funny.
haha but then theres one that my brother said to a girl "is there a mirror in you pocket? Cause i could see myself in your pants"
