Why aren't you out in the streets then screaming about injustice???

I don't get it..?
Please explain I really would like to know

You see what gets covered in the news. Did you see protests in your community over this cartoon?

There are protests by Muslims against terrorism in the name of Islam. You don't see it because the media (mostly) doesn't show it visibly (but it is there,) but you primarily are just not looking for it.

That said, why should a peace-loving Muslim have to prove anything? Aren't we in America, where people are judged as individuals, not members of a group?

There are protests against terrorists organized by Muslims but they INDEED are very rare. There are number of reasons for this, first and foremost being that Muslims identify themselves with fellow Muslims more than with any other group of people, even the country to which they belong to. There are number of cases where I've seen Muslims supporting another Muslim country at the cost of their own country even when no Muslim interests are involved. The only times I have seen some Muslims taking a protest march against terrorism was when the acts of terrorism had exceeded all limits. Additionally not all Muslims supported these protest moves. Most stayed away from them. The fact is that most Muslims don't like to think for themselves rather than look to their Mullahs for the tiniest of decisions in their daily life. The fanatic Mullahs control the mob and decide how the Muslim community is to respond to anything. Often the moderate ones who differ from them is branded a traitor. What can you expect?

I always wondered about this one, a muslim told me that they are scared to speak out as they could then be targeted by their own people. Seems to make sense actually and something I never thought of.

I am about to get a bunch of thumbs down. I quite frankly believe it is because most muslims support the terrorists. I think in private they rejoice about the attacks.

I think that a lot of them like it. Others are afraid. The rest are supporting it.
