i agree the writer should shut up if people start making a big deal about how drivers talk on their radio they will stop letting us listen in
besides in the middle of the race who cares what he says that is between him and his crew chief

I totally agree with you. When they wire the football players for certain games they don't air it live. They might give you edited bits and pieces during the game but if there is anything that might be considered offensive they bleep it out. NASCAR has the technology to do the same, with a few second delayed broadcast. The thing at Sonoma with Kyle Petty was comical. First he drops the F bomb on the live feed and then they still don't edit it on the replay. Kyle Busch is not my favorite either but much like Robby Gordon he is under the microscope. He got screwed (at the Bristol Busch race) by NASCAR in much the same way as Gordon and people are always looking to take a jab at him.

Obviously this guy doesn't spend much time in traffic! Maybe someone should put a microphone in his car and we'll get to here what he says when he gets annoyed.
I love hearing what the drivers say on the radio. They are there for a reason and not just for the fans. It's a communication tool. I love technology. You can let EVERYONE know how you feel, not just those that want to listen but those who need to hear what your thinking. You just have to be smart and chose your words carefully.
Hope to see you at Richmond. Let's get on with the chase!

That is absolutely ridiculous for a journalist to go off on a rant because someone curses on the radio. DON'T LISTEN if there's a problem, ya know? If they ever do anything about it, it'll be like Junior says: They'll just end up racing for money, and forget the points, because of the penalties that would arrive .
(( should they penalize for cursing on the radio.))
It's like that with anything. If you don't like something don't listen to it or use it.

lol, besides..no one curses more than Dale Junior when he's mad...lol that Journalist's ear would probably bleed on some days =D

I missed the first have of the National Anthem, but those little kids singing were SOO cute <3

I agree I like knowing that the driver can actually show emotion, and for instance I love Jeff Gordon, but listening on his radio he actually gets mad and starts cussing sometimes, especially at other drivers thats something that you dont see off the track as everyone has this perfect image of him persay. I think its a great way to find out a little more about the drivers and their personality and their abilities.

I agree with you. We have a very cool window into what the drivers and crew chiefs are thinking. The only time they should be watching their mouths is when they are the in car reporters and know that their conversations are subject to broadcast on national television. If not they can say whatever they want and cuss as much as they want. Turn it off if it offends you. That is what is great about this country.

I agree. I love being able to listen to the in-car audio every weekend and get a chance to get inside some of the cars, and even the drivers heads. Like you said, If you don't want to listen to the language etc. etc, change the channel or whatever. You can't blame anyone else when you have control over the situation right infront of you.

Yeah, exactly don't listen to the radios then, because you're going to hear a lot of language you're not going to like(even from Kyle Petty). Good thing he wasn't listening to Truex, he talks like the Jersey driver he is. I was listening to him at the Pepsi 400, he was saying a lot of stuff that I do when I'm driving.

I agree about the radio. Also it was nice to hear the kids sing the National Anthem. They did a great job and it was refreshing for a change. They should do something like that every week. Choose a local youth organization to sing. Get back to the family roots of NASCAR.

I love listening to the radio coverage, language doesn't bother me at all, I'm use to I grew up around the race track, I've heard it all..If people don't like what they are saying change to another driver or don't listen. I get a kick out of Tony Jr and Dale Jr. The anthem at bristol was good also, missed part of it, I was getting the chicken wings off the grill.
