All dogs benifit from obedience training. A well behaved dog is a dog that gets to go more places.

Price varies by area and place. Petco is one, ask vets or look in the phone book for boarding kennels most of them have classes or know where they are.

my dog goes to doggy school, she is 5 months now and it is totally worth it, I don't know where we would be with her today if we didn't spend the time and money to make her a polite and obedient member of our family.
Her school is more expensive than most $75 per lesson (private in home lessons) there are 7 total lessons so it came to $525.
Other places charge $25 -$50 per lesson, shop around your area and find out the best deals...also make sure it's going to be a method of training that fits your personality. Some methods can seem a bit brutal.

You should probably keep her away from the table when you are eating. Our little dachshund does the same thing but it was our fault, because she gave her food.

Obedience school is a good idea if you are unable to train her yourself. But, you will enjoy going to school with her so you can learn the proper commands, etc. I love goldens, well, actually I just plain love Labs and most all dogs.

nicely congrats on your kittens! And getting a sparkling domestic dog! lol nicely umm enable's see, you're able to desire to look on the pros and cons right here... The Boxer's and Golden Retriever's the two could be acceptable with cats or maybe kittens. they're the two very playful in spite of the actuality that I choose Boxers because of the fact they're now as performed out because of the fact the Retriever's are. lol I do exactly not probably relish possessing conventional dogs in spite of the actuality that Retriever's have beautiful personalities and are so friendly and candy to usually extremely everyone and each thing! Boxers are too, i assume they're extremely plenty the comparable yet i stumble on the Boxer to be a lil yet extra intriquing in spite of the actuality which you have seen attempting! whether, I very own a Papillon and a Chihuahua that are my lil darlings yet do not see, to be your form of dogs. lol

Yes she sure does. You need to learn how to train your Golden girl so she will be a better Canine citizen. Puppy kindergarten is about 100 dollars for a 8 to 10 week period of time. Well worth the money.
Find a good training facility and sign her up. The sooner the better.

Good luck with your Golden girl! :)

Yes taking your dog to puppy and adult obedience class is really something every dog should get. And puppy classes are an easy way to socialize as well. Your dog will be much happier all the way around if he's trained, and you will be too

She absolutely needs to go to obedience school so you can learn how to handle her.

It can cost from $50-$150 for 6-8 sessions. Well worth the cost.

I would suggest going to your local library and checking out what they have there befor you shell out for school. Librarys usually have extensive sections just for pets, and training videos to. Retrievers are usually quite smart, so don't give up on her right away, you just need to think in a doggie frame of mind. Try watching the Dog Whisper with Cesar Milan on Discovery too. He is amazing.

Yes, all dog need to go to obedience. You understand that obedience classes are more for you than for the dog. They teach you about dog behavior, how to socialize your dog and how to teach your dog. Prices vary.

I guess if you find a really good obedience class. I have a golden and he never went to classes but I spent A LOT of time training him. I've also heard a lot of people say it was a waste of money.
