This one is kind of plain, but it's an actual black wedding gown

I LOVE THIS ONE! It's very elegant and it is an actual wedding gown too, not just a black dress :p

Well, I found quite a few black wedding gowns on this site alone, so here is the link

Congrats on the wedding and kudos to you for doing something different. If you still have trouble finding the perfect dress you could always go with the traditional white gown and add a black sash and wear a black veil, that way you could have the best of both worlds:)

I think that you are much better off wearing a white gown with black in it. Have your bridesmaids where burnt orange dresses or black with orange ribbons. Just because you are getting married on Halloween doesn't mean that you need to wear black. All of the gowns below come with black trim available. The first one would be very elegant.

You can have a dress made in any color but I think you will regret it in the years to come. Sarah Jessica Parker got married in a black gown and she now publicly says she wishes she had worn white.

Think about it.

You probably won't find many black "wedding" dresses, so instead try searching for formal dresses or evening gowns. Another idea is to find a dress you like at a consignment store or form Ebay and have ti dyed.

Here is what I found:

Your wedding is a good, long two years away. Why worry about it now? Wait a year and then look for a wedding dress.

If you get it custom made they will dye it for you.

I highly suggest you reconsider this though. It may seem like a good idea now but in the future you may regret it. Especially if you go with black because it would have to be custom which means big $$$$.

GOOD LUCK EITHER WAY!!

I'd do black & orange for Halloween. Or even Brown & orange would be better than blue & orange. Dark blue & orange has visions of football teams and cheerleaders running through my head. Its the orange that is really making my mind spin. If the girls are in Blue and the boys in blue and black, where would the orange come in? Since you have the girls & boys both wearing blue - - - why not have Blue and another color that - IMO - would be more complimentary to it than orange. Such as Blue & white/ivory or Blue & Purple or Blue & Red. Blue & Brown would be OK even.

You can get one made or you could start looking at ultr-fancy bridesmaids dresses, a lot of them come in black.
