I'm not sure... but I know that there's this Wolf-Guy that actually LIVES with wolves. And he was the Alpha male, but occasionally they'd nip him... so he'd go get stitches and then go back to the pack. Each time that happened, they'd gently pick the stitches out and lick it up a storm. He swears it made each of the nips heal better than stitches and bandages.
I believe him. He didn't have ONE scar on his face. There must be somethin' in there.

I totally agree with Em, No. 1 I was thinking about the guy who lived with wolves too and since the wolves actually helped him heal his wounds better than the bandages there must be some healing enzyme in their saliva

nooooo! If you mean licking their wounds, its actually an old wives tale that it helps heal. They actually irritate the wound more and spread infection.

yes they are!!many times my dogs would lick where i had hurt myself and it made the healing faster!!plus when they lick their wounds,it does make them heal faster!!
