Look at most of the middle eastern people and I think you will have your answer. By no means black, but maybe more of an olive complexion and moreso a tanned, darker version because he spent a lot of time outdoors and on a fishing boat. The hair, I would hazard a guess at being a very deep brown to a jet black and curly. I imagine his eyes being a deep brown and he would have had a bigger nose (let's face it, Middle eastern Jews do have big noses) that was quite prominent. It says in the Bible that he would not be a good looking man. I think more so that he would not be a 'charmer' and that people would follow him because he was the one true son of God.

In the UK they call those of Pakistani or Indian origin "black" so African-Americans do not have sole use of the term "black".
Obviously, Jesus was not a white man as he is often pictured. Common sense would tell me that he was probably of brown skin with black or very dark brown short hair and a beard. I would think he'd be about 5' 6" tall or so as that was the standard height back then for men. I would think he would be lean from hard work and walking everywhere.
I would not say that he was black in the American definition as he was not from that region.
The Bible states that he was not "comely"...in other words, nothing that would draw your eyes to him, not handsome, just normal.
None of us will really know until we see Him.
In His Love,
J

No one knows what Jesus looked like or if he even existed. There were not that many black people in Israel then so Jesus probably either looked white or like an arab.
Blacks came from West Africa and are Bantu people. Not only are you a racist, you are gullible to believe anything as stupid as what you wrote.
The Tanakh(Old Testament) clearly has various races converting to Judaism, including Egyptians, Hittites , Greeks and ofcourse the Israelites.

We all came from Africa, according to the anthropologist's and carbon dating. Spread to the middle east, where Jesus was supposedly born and went from there. Many cultures have the same biblical stories (Noah's Arc for example) that predate the bible. So if 'Jesus' is going to be said to be born in the Middle East, he would have to be of the same genes of the people.
I have never seen Jesus portrayed with blonde hair; blue eyes yeah, but I think that's just because it makes him stand out in all those movies.
It's not about what he looks like, its about what he stands for.

Jesus was brown, probably very Arab looking as the population in that area did not significantly change much until after world war 2. Very likely a heavy black influence in the genes since it is said Moses and the Hebrews were from Egypt...which is part of Africa after all.
Jesus was definately not blond haired and blue eyed....and he did definately have a Jewish nose!

Nobody knows for sure!
If he looked like the rest of the people in the region he probably looked Arabic. Dark hair and eyes olive skin. The Bible only describes him as not standing out in appearance.

Jesus looked like the people who live in Israel look today.
And I don't think you have a good concept of "the color of current jews." I know what you're thinking, and no, he didn't look like Adam Sandler.
Over the last several thousand years, following persecution from about every ethnic group there is, the Jews have moved around alot and thus mixed with other ethnicities. So, in one sense, Jews today don't look like anything. However, there have been Jews living in Israel since they first settled there, and they look alot like the Palestinians. That's what Jesus would have looked like.

He was the Son of God...as for His complexion, i'm going to assume that He was pretty much the same as everyone else in His homeland...does it matter whether He looked like george harrison, yasir arafat, denzel washington, or the WSIDR? His life, His teachings, His message, His triumph over death...THAT'S what matters...
