They're right. Theres nothing you could do sweetie. The pigment in your skin was altered and accelerated by the sun, it'll take about a week to change back.

Oh there's a lot you can do!

A good one is to put tomato on your face. Just take a piece, smoosh it a little and put it all over your face. Leave it for about 10-20 minutes and just rinse it off.

Also if you have sensitive skin, you can dilute lemon juice in water and put it on your face for about 5 minutes. Or you can just put plain lemon juice that's not diluted. Make sure you use juice from a lemon, not from concentrate.

Also you can apply almond oil. It works amazingg. Just put some on before bed and wash it off in the morning with your normal face wash. Or it might just absorb, it's pretty light.

You can do the same with olive oil also if you don't have almond oil.

Usually when I unwantedly get tanned, it doesn't go away; it just kind of stays that shade unless I do something to wash it away. Here is an excellent link for skin care! Hope this helps.

It will fade soon!! Try to stay out of the sun or when you do, DONT FORGET YOUR SUNSCREEN!! I've also heard of using lemon juice. ANOTHER TIP: (this one works, i know from experience) At Wal*Mart, theres a $3.00 bottle of this stuff called Aloe Gel. Rub it all over your skin at ANY time, all during the day. In less than 2 days you will notice a HUGE difference. Try this. You wont regret it. Its especially for sunburned skin so, it will work if your skin is even a LITTLE darker than its natural color. Good luck to ya!!

Just use sunscreen every day. Skin cells are being made all the time, so your skin will naturally lose its tan. A way to speed it up is to use an exfoliant scrub (like St. Ives Apricot Scrub) and make sure you also spread aloe on your skin before bedtime. It will go quickly. Just avoid getting any more "sun" on your skin and it will fade.

Use an exfoliating cloth(wash rag) and in the shower, scrub yourself w/ soap. It was also take time to fade as well.
