Most exotic was Durian from Thailand. It is considered the world's stinkiest fruit. However it tastes great.
Strangest was Cappybara in Guatemala. Also known as the world's largest rodent. Was very tender and incredibly delicious.
It is always fun to eat and drink the local items when traveling. You get to be a traveler and not a turist that way.

I am way too much of a country girl at heart to try the "way-exotic" type of foods - eel, rodent, and the like - no way - however, I have had the opportunity to eat some of the largest shrimp I have ever seen in Norway! I was there for a gospel concert and the producers had a party for us - it included "reindeer', but again....the country girl in me would not allow me to eat that....

The most exotic.. is sadly probebly a mango. Haha, it was really tastey though! And also, this isn't exotic, but it came from an exotic place.. It was peanut ice cream from Tobego, and it was AMAZING. I was on the beach when this guy was riding around in his truck selling it. Yumm, nothing better than a cup of ice cream on the beach (:!

Strangest - I ate roasted ants once in Colombia. They tasted like burnt matches. Yuck.

Laap Dip in Thailand. It was raw meat with spices. I didn't like it at all.

I also ate a salad with LIVE shrimp in it in Thailand. It tasted pretty good, but the shrimp didn't really enjoy the ride.

i've eaten and still do...
hawaiian, filipino, tai, japanese, korean, samoan, tahitian some of the more non-typical types..
the most INTERESTING thing i've must of eaten was bill goat (filipino) and it was the most digusting of meats i've ever had...

i''ve had squirrel, snake, racoon, moose, deer, elk, bison, and i'm pretty sure rabbit and skunk. the pretty sure is becuase i got all of them from this hunter friend of mine who allways feeds us stuff and won't tell us what it is until we eat it. all was goog cept the snake. i wasn't a fan of that. oh, and squid and octopus. got those from my ittalian friend. both of them sound gross but are the most delicious things in the world.
