depends on the thickness. and if there is a bone in or not.
i cook mine on med heat for 10-15 min or more depending on how thick it is.
i cook it till the pink is gone. no longer. should be moist inside not dry

Ok, there hasn't been a case of botchulism from ingesting a pork product, in the U.S. since the 1960s, our pork is so clean you can eat it just about any way you want but I wouldn't think raw would be very tasty.
I cook a medium sized chop for 15 minutes on a medium oven and pull them out when they are still pink in the center.
There is nothing worse tasting or less nutritious than overcooked meat.

porkchops, as well as all pork products, have to be cooked fully (well-done, as in no more red in the meat) because pigs are often subjects to worms and although it does not affect the pigs it does effect humans that consumed under-cooked pork.
pork = well-done.
pork + medium-well = worms

it would cook faster in a skillet,probaly about 20 minutes,about 45 minutes to bake it.but really till its as tender as you like it.i like to cook them long and slow so they get very tender.
