Many of you are giving good answers to the question as it was asked. The rest of you apparently can't be happy unless your jumping to conclusions, making judgements, or throwing insults. If your not going to answer the blasted question, don't waste space with your inane drivel. To those who gave proper answers: I thank you all.

The writer of the statement, by writing the statement, is claiming to know or possess absolute truth. That makes the writer of the statement either a liar who should be ignored, or a dangerous delusional. Hopefully the writer is dead and buried so we have nothing to worry about.

Jesus the Christ said, "I am the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father God except by Me." Jesus said that He is the Only way to God. Jesus said that He is the TRUTH.

I'm not delusional. I'm a grandmother so I'm not dangerous. I'm certainly not a liar and no one that I know would ever say such a thing about me. Now, Christians are only stating what the Word of God says and Jesus said that He is the TRUTH and that He is the ONLY WAY. I believe it.

I totally disagree with your statement.

This is a misquote of the classic "Lord, Lunatic, Liar" argument. If someone says, "I am the Lord." They are either crazy, a liar......or telling the truth.

If I say I am an adult male, then I'm either a crazy woman, a lying child, or........a 30-year-old guy.

The quote doesn't take into account all possible explanations for the claim.

That certainly silences those who do know the only truth. After all, if they do, they don't dare say anything as it would mean everyone would consider them liars or delusional.

What a way to bury the truth! That's like saying that anyone who says he is wise can't be a wise man.

Silly.

Its very Possible to Know the Truth. Why? Because Jesus said: “If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31, 32)
So Truth can be Known & Possessed. Its Neither delusional or Arrogance.

If this statement were so, whoever made it would be calling Jesus Christ a liar. He made the statement that He WAS the truth, the life and the (only) way to the Father.

Since I believe Jesus, to answer your question, I will disagree.

...So then whoever wrote that statement presumably believed it to be true. Therefore, he is either a liar or delusional...

It's a circular logic puzzle, and therefore meaningless.

I gather that was a reference to Jesus Christ. He is the only one I know who claimed to know and posses the only truth. So I disagree since I don't believe He was either delusional or dangerous.

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life..."

I have Jesus.

He is the truth.

After over 30 years, no one has convinced me otherwise. After over 2000 years, He remains the Truth.

I am not a liar. I have never been delusional. I am a person of intelligence and reason.
