Good idea is to have only fruits or fresh fruit juice on empty stomach & wait for at least 30-45mins before you go on cereals (& since cereal is obvious, keep pattern of what you are doing currently). Fruits cleanses almost immediately - 30mins! Continue to make breakfast big so that can even skip lunch

You can make a great breakfast sandwich with thomas 100 calorie english muffins (comes in whole grain, plain, or whole wheat), then use 1/4 of a cup of egg beaters which come in 3 flavors for 30 calories, Then top with a slice of fat free cheese for 30-40 calories, and use Extra lean turkey bacon ( I use Jeannie-O, 20 calories per slice) And you can have a great breakfast sandwich for around 110 calories, and if you want more calories, add to the portion sizes, or have a side item like juice, milk, or fruit.

Hope that helps!

I ended up just wanting to do something FAST. So I wanted a protein drink. I originally had the Shaklee Energizing Soy Protein. It made a huge difference in my glucose level...really didn't have that morning slump. Then they came out with a weight management drink that is scrumptious. It is called Cinch. Comes in Chocolate, Vanilla and Cafe Latte. I actually did the whole program for about 5 months, lost 23 pounds. I've kept doing the breakfast shake now for the last 6+ months. Have actually lost another 5 pounds and I am just sold on this for a quick, healthy breakfast.

Check it out.
