think of something else while your lying, give a lot of details, and keep a straight face. also, tell the same lie to the same people. don't get caught in the different story scenario.

but why would you want to be a better liar? tell the truth, it'll make you feel better and you don't have to cover your tracks.

You need to practice, practice, practice just like any other skill!

Seriously, lying is generally not a good idea, eventually somebody is going to find a weak spot in your story, and it will come back to haunt you. Also, once you get a reputation for lying, people aren't going to believe you even when you are telling the truth! One day, when you are late home because you really did get abducted by little green men, nobody will believe you!

Very occasionally, there is a reason to tell a little white lie to avoid hurting somebody's feelings, like, if the ugliest girl in the whole school asks you out, you might want to say you're already seeing someone else!

don't change your routine way of answering questions. if you all-of-a-sudden provide a lot more info than usual, (a nervous habit of poor liars) it looks like a cover-up.

always look a person straight in the eye.

always mix in a lot of truth with the lie so that the lie is the smallest false part of the story.

always have a plausible backup lie, one which is embarrassing, in case the first one is blown. then you can cover the blown lie with the motive of embarassment.

makes sure whatever story you tell is simple, but quirky, because real life is quirky. if something is quirky enough people usually believe it; simply because they believe they are not capable of being fooled by something simple.

don't depend on anyone else for the lie except yourself.
accomplices always fail.

remember that when you commit a crime, the world is made of glass.

Here is ur answer, Read

Make up stuff anything but don't make it really fake, make something that is more close to ur actions and behavior and realistic. Make ur stories simple and not complicated. When u are burned back it up with a lie that sounds emberassing.
And yeah when somebody look u in the eyes don't flinch and keep up the straight face.

However, u can also lie by acting a certain way, but in secret u do the opposite.

If u are asking this quesion because u are dating a girl, u can lie to her by saying that u want to get her in bed. Then she will be around with u because she would want to discover ur personality deeper.

In the long run, I think bad liars are better off. If you get too good at it, you may find yourself having a hard time distinguishing whats real and what's not real.

But I know what you mean, I am a terrible liar. Always busted.

Evan, are you running for political office or are you trying to sell cars or are you in school to be a lawyer?

If not, emulate THOSE people and you'll be well on your way to being a consummate liar!

(It's just too bad my brother's not still alive; he could've been your mentor! Now THERE was a Classic Liar!)

You're a man, trust me I'm sure you're a great liar.

Kidding....my brother is a great liar, but I can never lie and keep a straight face. So I stick with honesty, it works out pretty well for me.

By telling yourself what you're trying to sell - and believe it!! Watch yourself in the mirror while you do it. Be aware of the tactics people pick out of liars - looking to the right a lot, not being able to hold eye contact, etc.

Becoming a better liar will only make it worse for your life. Do you really wanna go through life lying all the time? Why don't you work on being honest.

You can start be not caring at all about who it is, or what it is that you are lying too or about.
Don't think about it after you lie or you will feel guilty.
Then once you get away with the lie you do it again. But make sure you stick to whatever story it is that you made up so that it is to be believed by who you are lying too.
