my friend got her 4 teeths pulled out. and they weren't cavities. and it was because she didn't have enough space in her mouth...well she told me that they injected pain killers into her gums. and she couldn't feel anything. But if your getting a lOose tooth pulled out at home...it'll hurt. have someone else do it for you...and tell them to surprise you. you'll feel a jerk...but relax...once its out, your done. get it over with.

The dentist will give you a shot and numb that side of your mouth. You won't feel any pain. The pulling out doesn't hurt it just feels like pressure tugging on it. I just had a tooth pulled less than 15 days ago. After it's pulled the spot where your tooth was will be sore for about a week.

Not if they give you enough freezing. If the tooth is already dead, it shouldn't hurt much. Let them know if you can feel any pain and ask for a little extra freezing if you need it. What you will feel is a lot of pressure and it may feel like they're pulling out more than your tooth especially if you have long roots. Take ibuprophen afterwards if you have any pain and follow the dentist's advice for after care.

well, usually, if it is a baby tooth, it might just sting for a minute, but no, not real pain, they are designed to come out and be replaced by adult teeth. If you are talking about going to a dentist, it is his job to make sure it doesn't hurt while he is doing it, but it can be painful after the numbing agents wear off.

Generally no, during the procedure your pain will be controlled with Novocaine. After you should have a prescription for pain meds. I have had three teeth extracted so long as they are in OK shape and don't break it's over in five min. If they break your in for an emotionally traumatic experience, but relatively painless.

i have had 4 teeth pulled and only one of them hurt. and it wasnt even that bad. its cuz the other ones were like all dead.... but it doesnt really hurt its just like a little sting.
the only thing that hurts is when they put the injection in.... but im deathly afraid of needles..so that probably doesnt help.

No. They numb you gum first then pull it. Without numbing it it would hurt like heck.

No, you will be numb so you will not feel pain. You will feel a lot of pressure, but no pain.
