I need help with some certain settings on this camera....like the shutter priority and aperture priority.

Read and study your Owner's Manual.

Shutter Priority simply means you select a shutter speed and the camera selects the aperture (f-stop). Use when your main interest is in stopping action.

Aperture Priority simply means you select the aperture (f-stop) and the camera selects the shutter speed. Use when your main interest is in Depth of Field. Your camera should warn you when the shutter speed is too slow to safely hand-hold.
