you may want to visit a dr. and see if you have bone spurs, which are extremely painful. other than that, give yourself (or have someone else give you ) a foot massage. blue goo (much like ben gay or other analgesic) works well. you can put it on before bed and cover your feet with an old pair of socks.

If you work on your feet all day, it is extremely important to buy proper shoes which give support and absorb pressure from standing. I don't believe crocs are the way to go - you really need a proper shoe with good foot and arch support. In the evenings when you are home, soaking your feet in warm water is always helpful too.

soak feet in warm water mixed with a few drops of lavendar essential oil. This will relax you. Soak for 10 minutes.
Apply some sort of foot cream such as peppermint foot lotion.
This should help relax tired aching feet and the mint should cool them down.

Fir a real treat get your partner to massage them for you or go and get a massage at a beauty clinic.

I suffer from the same ailment and am always looking for answers. I will share with you what I have learned over the years that may help a bit. One of the most important things you can do is to replace your shoes every 6 months regardless of cost or appearance. I have also found in my case that weight gain adds to my problem i.e., if I lose 20 pounds, I hurt less. Good luck!

There's an older method that I use. Step on a tennis gently and roll the tennis on the bottom of your foot while stepping on it. Do this in the morning when you get up it should relieve any stress and relax the muscles in the foot for the day and if it hurts during work. Use the tennis ball trick at work.

be sure you're not overweight, coz it can also be the reason why. well, try to soak your feet on a lukewarm water or hotter than that where you can stand the heat. Put salt on the water before soaking your feet. soak them for 5 to 10 mins until you feel the water is kinda cold. Afterwards wear socks. Ooops, it would be much better if you do this before you sleep.

you need to have very comfortable shoes to help support the arch of your foot. when you get home, soke your feet in a tub of salt water to relax your feet. I used to do that after i got off a shift walking on the hard floor. i also would do a pressure point. that iswhere you find the most sore ar tender spot on your foot and put pressure on it to relieve the gasses from that spot. it helps for any muscle in the body. all spots in the foot will also help relieve sore spots in the body.

it's arthritis and sooner or later, it would turn to gout. the reason for that is you are high in uric acid..here's some info on how to get high level of uric acid...eating lots of fatty and salty foods, beans, from mongo to string beans to pork and beans and other kinds of legumes, nuts, crustacean (shrimp, crab, lobsters), sea shells or mollusks ( oysters, green shells, etc.) peanuts, dried fish.... if you are filipino, stop eating "bago-ong".... then, there's internal organs. you like liver, lungs or intestines? take it off from your diet....

to cure....maintain wearing crocs....have a good exercise...i bet you lack exercise...go for jogging....apply good pressure on it with the help of others.. here is one good idea...walk barefoot in the sea sand better yet white sand so it's not hot....it's the perfect therapeutic therapy for that kind of problem
