A friend of mine began having trouble sleeping and found out that his ex-wife had cast a spell on him to stop him from ever sleeping again or finding peace in his life. He is becoming very sleep deprived and it is effecting his job. I need to know if and how I can counter the spell. She is obviously using "black magic" I don't even want to go there, but is there a spell I can do to counter it?

Forget spells (fighting evil with evil), if you are turning to spells you yourself will end up being hurt. Simply encourage your friend to get prayer from charismatic Christians.

Ummm, good, my elbows are kinda double jointed and I can bend them lovely a long way backwards which has a tendency to freak men and women out. I do not know anybody else who can do it. But I relatively do not believe it has whatever to do with my being pagan. :-P Aside from that, all I have declare to involving being each Wiccan and witch is 15+ years of research, train, and stories that provides to my potential and knowledge of witchcraft and Wicca (amongst different paths I've studied) - and it is a neverending development approach - there's constantly extra to be taught and revel in. I'm no longer closed-minded, am in a position to believe external of the field, am quite often peaceable by means of nature, and I attempt to *are living* my ideals every day (stroll the stroll rather of simply speak the speak.) But regardless that I recognise few from the extra mainstream religions who're relatively like this, it without doubt does not imply they could not be in the event that they so selected to. We are ALL, each man or woman, certain in our possess means. That's some of the gemstones of being human, we're all precise participants, instead like snowflakes - no 2 precisely the equal. Sunday Lunch - what's fallacious with you? Hows approximately getting into the twenty first century with the relaxation folks, mmmkay?

Yes there is. You have to get your friend to believe that what ever spells anybody casts on him, don't mean a thing. That is the counter spell. He will sleep well the rest of his life, every night. Good luck to you both!

this is witchcraft not Wicca. there is a misconception that Witchcraft and Wicca are one and the same but the truth is they are seperate entities. some practice Wicca while not delving into witchcraft and vice versa. furthermore, there is no black magick there is magick and how it is used decides whether it is for good or bad. tell him to meditate (which does not need to be religious) it will help him relax a little. if he follows witchcraft as well then have him cast a protection charm or protection circle. annoint an item with the correct blend of oils (not too sure which ones). good luck

Blessed Be

Well, rest assured that whatever she sent out on him is coming back on her 3 times over. I mean, how misserable she must be to take the time to wish this on someone.

As for what he can do? simple.
Make a sleep bag: a small bag of herbs such as lavender and chamomile to aid relaxation and sleep. Also, create a peaceful place in the bedroom. Smudge the bedroom every evening and smudge himself. Then try to relax, and remember, don't let her have so much power over the situation. He is as strong as she is, he only has to tap it. Relaxation...

As for a way to banish the spell. Place a black candle on the alter and cast your circle. Make sure you smudge and he has to be there and willing. Have him hold the candle thinking of her and the sleeplessness and restlessness he is enduring. Place the candle on the alter and say a rhyme that has to do with banishing negativity from his life and helping him find a possitive spin on things.
Light the candle and let it burn all the way down.

Besure to give thanks to the Spirits that aid you.

Brightest Blessings...and i wish for him peace

The only way to keep spells from working on you is by being filled with the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is stronger than any spell anyone could ever come up with. If he has a relationship with Christ, he will recieve the Holy Spirit, and the spell his ex-wife cast on him, will no longer work.

Do a reversing spell. It's very easy. Basically, a reversing spell isn't "black magic" because it is not intended to "harm" anyone. What it does it sends back the negativity like a mirror, back to the person who set the curse in the first place. You can buy a reversing candle - usually with one end black and one side red. You dress it with reversing oil, and light it. Let the burn down. A 7 day novena candle works best. You can buy a candle already dressed and ready to use from Cat Yronwode at www.luckymojo.com, or you can buy the supplies to do it yourself.

Lavender will help a lot. Rub it into the temples and smell it before sleeping. If that does not work then praying to the Goddess and God to release the spell always helps.

Ummm...I'm not sure whether to believe this or not.
I personally don't get the whole black magic/white magic thing. Just his THINKING she cursed him probably has a whole lot more to do with it then any actual curse. What he needs is to talk to a doctor about some temporary sleep aide.

Send a note to "therev@capital.net" and tell Tim that Reyn and Jonathan sent you. Explain to him what you explained here. He is a Wiccan priest/minister; Jonathan's pastor (and to a degree mine, although I remain Episcopalian) and he can help.

Kind thoughts,

Reyn

In order to do good, you would need to use white magic. Too bad it isn't as affective as the black variety.
You may want to look into voodoo. Very affective and highly erotic.
