I had this problem too but i learned other ways to deal with it. When you feel you are going to explode try something else. For example I asked my dad to buy a boxing bag. If i was mad at someone I taped their picture to the boking bag and beat the **** out of it. Same thing on a pillow until we got the boxing bag. You could try screaming into a pillow, talking about it to someone (but first let them know if they scream its not towards them), write it out, or have a long cry. Sometimes going for a walk or a run makes things better.
That way at the end you are more rational and can handel yourself better.
Hope I helped

Go find an anger management class in your area. It's for the good of your family. You may feel bad about signing up for this, but you should feel proud that you're taking steps to make yourself a better husband and father, and that you're helping your family.

To find out about these programs, call the local community mental health center, or the local district court. A phone call would be anonymous, if that helps.

Think of it this way - if you don't act, you'll continue hurting your family, maybe to the point that they hate you or even leave you. If you don't want that to happen - then call.

I hate to admit it, but you and I have something in common, and I'm still trying to find a solution to the problem. I guess the easiest thing to "say" is to not sweat the small stuff and let some things slide, but to actually let them slide is harder done than said. I am trying to find time to myself to relax and think about why I am where I am. You need to remember why you chose to have a family, and figure out how bad you want things to work out for you and your family. It's really important to enjoy life and your family before something happens to someone you love. There is no worse feeling than losing someone when the last thing that happened between you was on bad terms. If you need to relieve your anger, take a drive, walk...etc to clear your head so your family will want you around when you get back. Live everyday like it is your last.

Easy; run around the block or join a gym. You need hard physical exercise to excorcise those angry demons inside you; the physical work will releaqse those happy endorphins and you will be too tired and too happy to take your anger out on anyone...you won't even feel anger, and if you do, work out.
