What is there to do in a "heaven?" For those of you who think that heaven is a place to enjoy yourself by eating all you can eat or lounging around playing video games, you are sadly mistaken. Those are very "human" and hedonistic ideas which, as all Christians know, are not allowed by their god. So what does someone do? For those who go to church, I hope you enjoy it very much. Because in heaven, thats probably what you will do: Worship your god for eternity.

In hell, you will supposedly suffer for eternity in some ironic punishment or burning infernos.

Its a tough decision: Everlasting worship of god (with no breaks because you won't need them) or an eternity of 3rd degree burns. Which would you choose?

Hell seems like it would be the better party.

Since heaven and those in it Rev.3:12; comes down out of heaven from God and I want to reside forever on earth as to the promise Isa.65:17; 2Pet.3:13;
then the heavenly head in the new heavens over the rest of the body in the new earth is the only thing that seem to be a wonderful promise after all that has happened. Rev.21:1-5; Gal.4:26; Heb.12:22-24; Rev.14:1-7; Rev.20:1-6,12,13; The heavenly are with Jesus at his second coming.
After Rev.20:7-10; All that can be in the new heaven and the new earth are there. All that are not there have only self to blame.

Well considering you won't know till you get there. I suppose the obvious choice would be heaven whether you believed in it or not. I believe if you are worshiping your God forever there are many forms of worship and it won't be a bad thing. In hell the torment is the knowledge you could have made the right choice and didn't and you are always and forever in complete darkness and isolation from God who created you in the first place, and would never had existed otherwise. Now isn't that something to think about. Yes it ought to be. You need to be a bit more open minded and do some serious research before you embark on eternity.

People have such limited ability for critical thought when they assume that heaven would be "boring"

That is because they fail to realize that Hell is only the absence of God - it's a place that no human being was EVER meant to go. It is Satan's Kingdom - and Satan is an imitator, a liar, a distorter. He can create nothing, he only distorts and twists what God created. So it's not like, "in hell people do fun, naughty things; in heaven people do boring, 'good'" things.

It's more like - in Hell, you are separated from anything human and punished eternally

In Heaven - you get to be what you were always designed to be, which is in a relationship with your Heavenly Father

Heaven won't be boring, you can have anything you want and be with anyone you want to be with, if you've been a good person here on earth. I don't think hell exists unfortunately as I know quite a few who should end up there if it did !

well firstly Hell is not a place like Heaven is.simply Hell is the grave.those whom will not be in Heaven will not go on forever living in flames ,fire and torture they will be consumed and burnt completely up and will live no more.they will not even be remembered in time.Heaven will be amazing and beautiful.but the best part will be getting to know GOD,JESUS ,THE HOLY SPIRIT and all the angels.and also the brave loved ones who defended Christ and lost their lives for it.then there is the beautiful city THE NEW JERUSALEM that GOD has prepared for those who love him.and all things created by our Heavenly Father.all these things we will see for ourselves.i don't think we can imagine the real beauty and love behind it all.i hope to be there and i hope those i love will be too.good luck.

There are no 3rd degree burns in Hell - the Bible says it is hotter than any fire on Earth - your soul will be in the lake of fire forever - there will be screaming and the gnashing of teeth - God is like the floating device thrown to a drowning person - all one has to do to gain eternal life is to take hold of the floating device.

You have a very limited concept of heaven. I suggest you read the Book of Enoch, it describes many different levels in heaven. Personally, I'm going for horseback riding bareback, at full speed, without any fear of being thrown, playing with wolves and tigers. All those things you can't do now because of fear. There is no fear in heaven.

I have to go with Heaven. The way I understand it, its like a family get together that never ends and full of happiness. Good question

Hell is separation from God. Have you ever been clinically depressed? I would imagine that's what it feels like.

Have you ever experienced sheer joy or extreme happiness and wished it could last forever? That's probably close to what Heaven is.

well, if all the hedonists and partygoers go to hell, its probably one huge, neverending party, whereas heaven is probably an eternity-long church service, devoid of human pleasure. if the pain is worth the company of your dumb little party buddies, then hell is probably a lot better!
