I agree wholeheartedly and am encouraged by your patriotism. If you don't like this country, you can leave. And if you come here illegally, by God you BETTER leave!

The upside down American flag is a sign of distress; the police should have been called to help solve the problem. Flying any flag above the American, on US soil, is illegal. The police should have been sent to solve the problem. The school should receive no funding until the problem is rectified, and all fines have been paid. Violating federal law is not freedom of speech.

I don't know why Mexicans don't respect the flag - I think that they feel that America is still really their country and look we are bending and swaying things to make this a little Mexico.
Freedom is not free and there are more than Caucausians that fought in any war - there was lost of life for All Americans and people of color were more so on the front lines than Anglos because of them being undereducated and improvished - most Anglos were decision makers and in the Officer corners. Check out the wall - it was all Americans.
And to top it off - Most of the People of color who fought, when the got back home to the USA were treated worst than then their counterparts.
However, when not on American soil - the Anglos would respect and treat other American's as their equal, brother/sisters etc., until they get back...then something happens.
When will learn it is all one race - the HUMAN race and not anglo or anything else because no one's blood is pure - we are all mixed.....

The correct term is not Mexican. It's Latino. Not all Latinos are from Mexico. That's like saying all White people are from France.
Do not even try to say that other ethnicities have not suffered in the US. You can paint the picture that White people bore the hardest part because they're being deployed in higher numbers, but in reality it's because White people are the majority in the US. No other reason could support that.
You can't say that other races didn't die for their country. Look at the White and African Americans that died to get equal rights for African Americans. That was a long battle, one that raged even before we became independent of the UK.
So maybe more White people have suffered, but my Native American great uncles all fought in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, even when they had no rights. You can't negate that.

Personally I think Mexicans dont respect flag because they think the white man is trying to keep them down or something. My friends complain"mexicans should have more rights they do stuff americans dont want to do" well no one asked them to come here. For some strange reason they still think theyre in mexico, and theyre not.Even if people in mexico dont care about the american flag the ones that are here should because they are living here.If they want to be here they should live by the American customs.I know I do and Im 14 and of hispanic descent

You make an important statement here. I haven't thought about any of this before now. There is no reason anybody (not just Mexicans) should get to come to America illegally and expect any rights, let alone demand them. There are people dying in the war in Iraq as we speak; they are the ones who deserve to be here...free...

When US born citizens learn to respect it perhaps immigrants legal or illegal will as well. What do you think when you are at a sporting event and people continue to talk when our national anthem is played? What do you think about how few Americans even bother to flag our flag? How would you expect someone with no roots here to respect something most Americans don't? My father was in the US Navy for 31 years, weather permitting we flew a flag 356 days a year. I fly a small one daily, how many here do? I live in a condo with over 300 units, mine is the only one I have ever seen.

Before you question why anyone should not respect the American flag, and the fact that thousands have died for it, you should direct this question to members of the United States congress and senate, as to why they don't have enough respect to our flag to protect it with a constitutional amendment.
Members of our military for years have died and suffered for this flag, only to see others trash it, burn it and disgrace it in many ways, and they're given protection by the law as "expression of free speach". So question our parasitic elected officials.
The idiots that keep trying to blame the countries ill's on the liberals, should give up and get a life. Both parties are to blame and if they can't see this, they have their heads up their***.
When the cons try to change anything, the dems fight it, and turned around, it the dems try the exact same thing, the repubs fight it, that's why this country is loosing ground.

Because the liberals tell them they don't have to. The Pledge of Allegiance is gone, the rules governing the flying of American and foreign flags are not enforced, and nothing is being done to stem the tide of illegal immigrants flooding into this country from Mexico. Think about it: If there was another country in the world where you could just go in and set up house, get free health care and free social security, and be pandered to by one of the political parties in power, wouldn't you be tempted to go? What if they also allowed you to fly the U.S. flag however and whenever you wished and you were not required to renounce your U.S. citizenship? Sounding better? How about if they put you in a protected class where you were treated better than one of their own citizens, even if you're accused of committing a crime? Ready to pack your bags yet? This is what it is to be an illegal immigrant in this country, and we have the so-called "progressives" in the Democratic party to thank for it.
