i really want to get another dog. i have a 2 yr old female toy poodle. i am 13 and my brothers are 16 and 17. i am really responsible for my dog and i always get A's in school so my mom thinks i deserve it. do you think that a papillon and a toy poodle would be nice with eachother? should i get another girl? or should i get a male? please help thank you!

Depends on the personality of the individual dog, but I see no reason that they wouldn't get along.. Male or Female is really a personal choice.. I always like having male dogs.. I've always gotten along well with several male dogs together.. never tried several female.. but have had both at the same time with no problem.. (just make sure they are fixed if you do that) Papillons can be really sweet dogs..

you should rescue a dog from a shelter. that would show your mom that you are interested in saving a life and responsible enought to adopt and help the animals who need a home. try www.petfinder.com
but most small dogs will do fine with another small dog. and if you get a boy make sure they are both fixed.

If your heart is set on another purebred, yes, get the Pappy. As to sex, it's your personal choice, but neuter them both and all of you will be happier.
