the negative remarks about pits. How about this..... what is the silliest thing your pit or any dog has done, that made you sit back and say WTF!? Or simply made you laugh your butt off?

Our male Gunner, decided that he wanted a treat. I heard some noise in the kitchen and thought it was Phoenix on the counter again(she thinks she's a cat), anyway, it was Gunner, he pulled down the twizzler bag, brought it to me, sat down the bag, sat handsome and smiled. I guess he wanted his treat. Now if Phoenix learns how to take the lid off the cookie jar i'm in trouble. Our female pit can say I WANNA GO TO, what can yours say?

My pit lets herself in the house from the backyard, and closes the door after herself. People never believe me until they see it with their own eyes. I have a door to go into my backyward that is glass with a french handle, and she hits it with her paw, then pushes the door open with her nose, then when she comes in pushes the door closed with her nose. Its awesome. Makes me laugh everytime still though.

I hate the negative things that people say about pit bulls and rotweillers. They are taught to be a certain way, they aren't born vicious. All dogs can bite, be mean and nasty. But because pit bulls are among the strong dogs, they are bred to fight and labeled as nasty vicous dogs. I've seen some of the sweetest dogs, and they happen to be rotties or pits. I hate the ignorant people who do this to these dogs, they don't deserve it. I hope every dogfighter gets caught and has to do time in jail.

Well, I am sorry that there have been so many negativities about the pit breed. It just sucks that there are so many ignorant people out there that think that they can actually blame a dog for being bad. The people are the ones to blame.

I have 3 labs/mixes, and they all do stuff funny all the time. But for the life of me I can't think of anything just hilarious right now, other than they all think they are humans and they will put their ears up and turn their heads like they actually understand what you are saying to them (s/times I think they really do) and one of them tries to use his paws like hands. It's pretty funny! Oh and that one also tends to throw fits like a 2 year old, throwing himself around and stuff when he's scared of s/thing or he is just being spoiled and trying to get his way. Imagine a 120lb. goofy, clumsy 2 year old lab throwing a fit, it's really funny!

Yes i too I'm tired of all the negative remarks made about Pit Bulls. It really is how they are raised (trained... socialized) on how they or any breed of dog turns out.

My Dee, female APBT, just loves water often times I will walk into my bathroom and find her standing in my tub waiting for someone to come in and turn the water on. She will give us double paw if she thinks we are going to ignore her.
she's a funny girl with a goofy grin!

I had a Dobie, years ago, that was trained in all phases of Police work except bomb detection.

We were coming home after work on the freeway & she had her head out the window. All of a sudden there was a big comotion in the seat beside me. I pulled off the road to see what was going on. She had caught a sparrow in flight outside the window. Going 55 miles an hour!

She was always quick but this just left me in awh.

I have nothing against pits it's the people that make them violent that i hate.Even though i have been bitten by a pit when i was younger i have nothing against them but i think they all have a stereotype because i have worked with this pit that was so timid and shy and she was the loveliest dog she was so sweet.

I just had to comment!!! ha ha If you live anywhere by me my dog is not allowed to play with your because I do not need him learning those tricks!! ha ha

We have an Akita and his favorite thing to do is if daddy dose not get up and he wants him to our baby will go into the bedroom and very quietly walk up daddy's side of the bed and very gently nibble on daddy's ear lob!! Ha ha It is very funny. When dad wakes up our baby just wiggles and jumps around!! Too funny!!

I hear you about the pits being bad mouthed. Just remember there are not bad dogs just bad owners and bad breeders!!

When my dogs are outside at night doin their business, and they start singing, I usually join in with them. They'll howl whenever a police car or ambulance goes by.

When the thunder hits, one of my dogs (german shepherd) will rush to the bathroom and hide behind the toilet or some other small area in the house.

Another one of my dogs will climb up on my lap to protect me. If we don't give them enough "pettings" according to them, they'll find out hands, put their noses underneath our hands, and flip our hands up for us to pet them.

Oh, they also know when it's time to get their morning and nightly treats, and will follow us around until we get it and give it to them.
