i need to cook a chicken and heres all the ingredients i have to work with, it would be nice if you gave me step by step on how to do and if it took 1-2 hours thanks.ingredients:

heinz homestyle gravy
golden mountain seasoning sauce
fish sauce
lime juice
oyster sauce
soy sauce
butter
celery
sliced olives
cream of mushroom soup
silantro

Most cooks are fans of cooking things that cook quickly or that can be put together quickly and then need little attention till they are almost done. My favorite is plain baked chicken with a few herbs and spices that you can change according to your taste or the season. This can be used with a whole chicken or chicken pieces. Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees. Rinse the chicken with cool water if using a whole chicken remove the heart, gizzard and neck ( be sure to check both cavities on the bird) . Place some softened butter mixed with your herbs I'd pick garlic, basil and parsley under the skin of the chicken. Sprinkle the outside of the bird or pieces with a little salt, black pepper and paprika for color. Bake for approx. 15 minutes and turn the oven down to 350 degrees for 45 more minutes. The outside should be crisp the inside tender with no blood visible close to the bone. Allow to rest lightly covered for 10 minutes after removing from the oven before testing for doness. During this time the chicken will continue to cook the juices will be absorbed back into the meat and not end up on your plate. A simple side dish is to cut up red potatoes into bite sized pieces and toss them with a little oil, salt & pepper and roast them in another pan with maybe some herbs.

wash the chicken well. inside and out.
with what you have on hand you can go several ways with flavoring
i would go with garlic salt, seasoning salt, and a lil oil
sprinkle the salts btwn the skin and meat, and in the cavity.
drizzle with oil and bake 350 till done

or cut up the chicken and bake either bone in or out with the following (350 till done) -
mix cream of mush w/1 can milk, season with season salt, parsley, pepper, garlic powder and maybe some oregano,
serve with noodles or rice

never heard of the golden mtn seasoning

i would fry the chicken and make a sauce with some of theingredients there.(if u have a shredder) go to foodnetwork.com nad they will help
