I've heard both sides of the argument about what's healtheir; Chocolate vs. Carob. I eat very healthy but cannot live without my Chocolate, and I would switch to Carob in a heart beat if I knew it was healthier. Does anyone know anything about this?

Carob is healthier than chocolate but you can still have a little bit of chocolate that contains more than 75% of cocoa.

It is healthier but if you're a chocoholic don't think you'll be able to dump one for the other. Much like switching from standard to any other health food (soy/rice milk vs regular milk - wheat vs white, etc) it takes time to get used to becasue it doesn't taste the same. I suggest gradually incorporating it into your diet and then gradually pulling back on the chocolate until you can do it with out feeling like it's very different to your palate.
