I have several that are my favorite. I will give you a couple.
Turkey tacos, salad or tostadas
Buy some lean turkey meat. Cook it. Add some spices. I like using Emerils spices, or adobo. You have some meat for your tacos! Get some tortillas, add low fat beans, turkey meat, sour cream ( I use soy), some salsa and your good to go! You can also use this to make a tostada salad. Just get low fat tostadas or bake your own in the oven. Very easy. Just get tortillas and bake them. Add any ingredients you want. I also add olives and tomatoes, delicious! I love turkey meat because it is so versatile. You can make many dishes. You can even use it in lasagna or spaghetti.

Buy a large can of enchilada sauce. I buy the green because it is my favorite.
Cook tortillas
cook potatoes, then cool, peel and mash. Add spices. Again I use adobo.
cook sauce in deep sauce pan. Just until hot.
Dip cooked tortillas in hot enchilada sauce, use prongs so you don't get burned.
Then put tortilla on plate. Add potato stuffing and roll tortilla like an enchilada. Repeat process. I usually add sauce on top then sour cream, lettuce, etc. Very yummy and easy. Not like my grandma used to make! Enjoy!

Try "Forelle blau" --- trout blue.
Dinner for a terrified single:
Buy a frozen trout. Take a pot were the trout can ly in. fill it with water, so that it is 2 cm higher than the trout. Take one onion, peel and quater it, put it in the water. Take 2 laurel leafs, put it in the water. Take 2 teaspoonfull of salt, put it in the water. Take a little bit pepper, put it in -- where ??? -- the water of course. Take some juniper berries (about 20) and put them in the water. Take half a cup of vingar to the water. Boil the water. Take 4 potatoes boil them with a teasoonfull of caraway and two teaspoonfull of salt. Peel them.
Take 100g of horseradish. Mince it with a grater. Oh, I know lots of tears. Take some drops of vinegar better lemon to the horseradish. Buy some whiped cream spray or whipe some cream, mix it with the horseradish. Make a bout 70g of butter fluid. Anywhere the water is boiling. Put Power to zero and put your trout in. Wait about ten minutes.
Eat your "Forelle blau mit Sahnemerettich".
Candle dinner for two no guy will be able to survive as a free man. Take a white damask tablecloth on the table. Put some burning candles in candleholder.
Do the same as above. But take two trouts and ten potatoes.
(Possibly the guy is hungry). Serve the potatoes in a bowl with parsley!!!
Play something from Rachmaninow or Bach. Take a light Riesling (Liebfrauenmilch or somthing else) as drink.
At the end serve a cup of coffee and play the beatles "love, love me do"
"Liebe geht durch den Magen." (Love is going through the stomach), as we Germans say. I guess, the guy has no fair chance.

ps: you als can do with carpen, but th has more calories and is only for christmas.
You have to put the hot butter over the potatoes.

Fish is low calorie, high protein all around good for you food.
Try Tilapia. Its a white fish with big flakes and is very deliciou.
Try putting a rub on it and grilling it. Don't leave it on too long its cooked in 5-10 minutes.
Serve with Brown rice, Veggie and Salad and you have your low calorie, home cooked meal.

If you are only counting calories you have lots of good options for cooking if you use fish or seafood, ground turkey, ground pork, beans, whole grain pasta or whole grain rice. Stay away from a lot of higher fat red meats and you will be cutting calories. Eggs are high in calories too, just FYI.

Tuna fish is a well one so long as you get it packed in water and now not oil. For breakfast I consume like a fiber bar or a granola bar. I keep away from all of the ones protein or vigour bars. Most are prime in energy or high-priced or they style unhealthy. If you are looking to drop extra pounds you should not be consuming nuts besides. Nuts are very prime in fats.
