Are there any? I went to a restaurant of Italian culture and amongst their many beautiful pictures they have several pictures of dead people that seem to have been victims of mob hits. I don't see this as culture but murder. I think of children that may dine there and see this or someone who may be very upset by such an image. What is the best way to go about having the restaurant remove the images. Is there any rules against this? Especially since they do not have a parental advisory ?

Not patronizing it seems the best way. You could talk to the owner/manager and express your concerns, but be willing to listen to what the art represents for them, there may be a strong reason for it.

I personally would explain to my kids why the art was there and what it meant. So far they've done quite well with open and honest explanations.

Edit:
There may be local ordinances about artwork but it's a very dicey subject as it infringes on freedom of speech, and everyone's interpetation is different. You could try to talk to a city official (likely the DA's office) or ask a librarian for a reference on the local laws.

If you don't like it, don't eat there and inform the manager as to why you choose not to. If they get enough complaints then they will take the pictures down.
And at the very least you won't be forced to view the objectionable pictures any longer. Everyone is free to walk out of the restraunt if they don't like the decor.

Call them and ask if they have a corporate office. Look them up on the wed too and check if there are any numbers or addresses. If not just tell them that you don't agree with it and see what they say.

No. It's legal. If you don't like it, don't eat there.
