Nothing. Scientific thought was suppressed after around 600 CE when Christianity became the prominent influence in Europe. It was revived by Francis Bacon, among other Enlightenment-era thinkers, not through a reading of the Bible, but quite the opposite.
Although the Church has since warmed to science, it initially opposed it and persecuted revered scientists like Galileo and Copernicus when science contradicted theology.

Actually, the Bible is full of scientific facts that were known to God long before "scientists" figured them out.
For example, the Bible speaks of the Earth being round in Isaiah 40:22 "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth,.."
The Bible is full of scientific facts, you just have to know where to look. See the source for other examples.

nothing, science wasn't really around yet when the bible was first generated, thus meaning that the bible couldn't comprehend the idea that people would explain the world in other ways, ways that have provable explanations.

Bible tells you that the world is created in 6 24 hr days, which is incorrect scientifically.
It says vegetation was created before light which is also incorrect
It says world is flat ... so....
it says World and heavens have pillars .... soooooo, u know ....
It says Moon and Sun both have their own lights which is also incorrect.
