Who said homosexuality was a disease?

2007-08-27 08:05:14 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 4 0

Yes a spiritual, soul and mental disease. Physically, A.I.D.S. and other deadly S.T.D.s will greatly reduce it and maintain and increase the God-ordained marriage of ONE Man to ONE Woman to co-create more Divinely Beloved sons of God for our Father !

No Children -- no real Family ! Adam and Steve can NOT procreate Children ! Ada and Eve also can NOT ! Biologically IMPOSSIBLE -now and forevermore !

The religion that has the most loved Children will win the world some Day ! It will thus be either Christianity or Islam or maybe, for a few hundred years, a blended Chrislam. (Now already beginning in Lebanon and elsewhere.)

Count the terrible costs of godless secular humanism !

Peace and progress,

It's not a disease or a genetic anomaly! IT IS A SIN! God is not the author of confusion! How could He CREATE sin, then condemn the creation for embracing it? The Bible says, "What communion (relationship) hath light (good) with darkness (evil, in this case, homosexuality)? What concord (contract) hath Christ with Belial (false gods/teachings)?" It isn't POSSIBLE for it to be a disease, for if it were, He'd have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah!

Go ask a homosexual if it is a disease then come back. I think the one thing gays and Christians agree on is it is not a disease.

There have been studies by hundreds of well known schools that have found that there are differences in the brain of those who are homosexual to those who are not. Their brain does not develop the same way that a non-homosexual person's does. They are also finding out more differences like that most homosexuals are left handed and other things. Yes the Bible says it's wrong however, you can't always take the Bible word for word...like we still don't go out and sacrifice an animal do we?? No we don't things change. They did not know that people are born gay and that they don't choose that lifestyle. And to those who want to judge I say read your Bible again because it also says to love one another and that you are not to judge one another.

I'm a Christian. Homosexuality is not a disease. End of story. And not all Christians are homophobic. There are an increasing number of Christian denominations that are quite open and friendly to the gay community, and certainly don't view their gay parishioners as "diseased".

It isn't a "disease". It is a psychosocial disorder, a fact that was universally acknowledged by the psychiatric profession until they decided to eliminate it because it was too difficult to treat.

I've never said it was, and I can't recall anyone I know that is Christian saying it was either. It is however, a sin like many other things we do in this world.

It is not a disease - it is a condemned act spoken of in God's Word.
