nothing cleanses your liver except time, but the lemon is refreshing and has a little vitamin c. for energy oatmeal with toast is a good start. be sure it's whole grain with no added sugars. if not, you will feel tired in about one hour.

I have a glass of water and an ounce or two of Xango. The water helps to jumpstart your metabolism and the Xango actually helps to curve your appetite during the day so that you are not eating as much. I lost 30 pounds in 5 months. Plus, the ingredients in it have kept me from getting colds. Chech out these websites for information:

Water is good first thing with lemon or lime is excellent. Fruity fibre is also good with apple juice as you mention which is the best awakener ( interestingly my blood pressure medicine is apple based!) and later plenty of carbohydrate which gives a slow energy release throughout the day.

Apparently apples do a better job of waking you up and sorting you out than a cup of coffee in the morning.

It doesn't have to be warm water, just not shocking cold. The lemon actually clears mucus from your system. After that, what ever you do for breakfast. I like oatmeal!
