1200 is the minimum amount of calories you need for vital body processes. I assume you're doing more than lying in bed all day, so you do need more. You can start adding calories daily, as long as you don't go way over the top (ie eating anything high in fat) you should be able to keep your weight fairly constant. Just be prepared that when you do start eating more, your weight will intially fluctuate, which is only temporary, it's just water weight.
Remember you need 3,500 calories to 'create' a pound, and the average person burns about 1,500 a day by going about daily activities. So there is no real need to worry for weight gain if you eat healthy foods and remain active.

100 a day is a lot - more like 50-100 a week - 1300cal/day this week, 1350-1400cal/day next week, 1400-1450cal/day a week after etc.
dont forget that you cant stop working out - you will lose muscle and muscle is the one that burns calories.
