I definately takes more faith to believe in Science than in God. I find it easier to believe in a creator than something coming from nothing.

It takes faith to be an atheist, because atheism is a positive belief: The belief that God does not exist. As opposed to agnosticism, which basically just declines to form an opinion.
It may be impossible to prove that God exists, but it's also impossible to prove that no God exists. So whichever belief you hold, you are accepting it on faith.
You can believe the words of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Gospels, or the word of his successors who have passed down the faith to this day, or you can believe the words of people like Rand or Nietsche, and would rather associate yourself with their point of view than that of the Christians.
The question everyone has to ask is: What are the sources for my belief (even if it's disbelief), and where did those sources get their information?

no, it wouldn't. I have never understood why faith is considered a virtue? how can sane people think it is virtuous to believe something you have no evidence of. Isn't that the definition of crazy?
I am an atheist and i have NO faith. I do not believe in things i cannot prove and i do not believe things just because some men got together centuries ago and slowly devised a method to control human behavior by using pavlov's theory of reward and punishment. Doesn't do it for me

"Faith" is a choice to believe in something without any evidence. Not believing in the something for which there is no evidence does not take faith--it's the default position.
It does not take "faith" to be an atheist. If I came to you and told you that there were invisible turtles living in your backyard, and you didn't believe me, would you say that it takes "faith" to not believe in those invisible turtles? Of course not. It's the same thing here.
It's actually pretty arrogant for someone to suggest that it takes "faith" on my part to not believe in THEIR magical, mystical, invisible, super-being. That's THEIR story...it has nothing to do with me.

But you are saying as if faith was a "bad thing".
Huh?
If Atheist has more faith, it means you have less faith... So why are you so happy?

It does not take faith to be an atheist. How many times do we have to tell you people?

It's definitely just you, atheism requires no faith.
Atheism is simply not sharing the theists belief in a god or gods.
It is not even required that one believes god does not exist to be an atheist.

It is not a matter of faith it is a matter of intelligence. Believing in the laws of physics is not a matter of faith, it can be proven.

i'm not an atheist, but it would seem so.
if you were raised a christian, for example, and your whole life you believed in God and that He was watching you, and your whole family believe this; to one day believe that it's all a lie has to be hard. Your whole family might not look at you they same way, you might be afraid to tell them because you're scared what they might think
