I doubt it. But all you gotta do is turn it on and let him lick it again and he should stop. Unless it's too dumb to understand pain.

Try using bitter apple spray on the heater. Use it now so that your baby does not try this when the heat comes on and burns him. You can buy the bitter apple spray anywhere they sell pet supplies.

Please be careful. It will burn its mouth by placing it in a red hot heater. If it is licking outside means it finds a new thing that fascinates him/her. Just check this thing.
