When Vedas ask you not to take Idols then Why do Hindus run around Idols drink milk and all kind of non-sense?

Can Idols really drink milk,it is very hard to believe.

I will never understand why people worship idols, it simply doesn't make sense!

Hindus don't worship idols. Hindus use idols for the purposes of worship. There is a difference. The idols that Hindus use, are there to "symbolise" god and not to "constitute" god. No Hindu believes that the idols are divine themselves. Hinduism teaches that God is onmipotent, however the worship of god does require structure. The idols are there to give the Hindus a place to focus their worship towards and thus to give some sort of structure to the practice of worship.

Secondly, why don't you give lectures to Christians also, they have idols of Jesus. Muslims are the biggest critics of idol worship yet they bow down 5 times a day to a black rock. Maybe you should lecture them as well.

Only Vedam ALONE talks of Brahmam--which is omnipotent,omnipresent.omniscient,all pervasive("Vaasyam")-all imbibisive(Itham sarvam) ultimate Reality (Satyam),Anantham(immanent)which is has no name(Anomica), no form(Aroopam).Only other religions talk about a G-O-D=God and say God has even a gender also( male-male chauvanism-if one say GOD can be Female also they will EAT them alive!!!!).In Vedic Reigion(Hindu) G-O-D=God/Goddess- is only in the second pedestal-below Brahmam-A "Brahma Gjnaani"=a peson knowledgeble in Brahmam, never worships an Idol,or symbol(Trident-Spear-cross) or go round massive structures nor need to do any rituals(Karma Mukthi).Only problem with Hindu religion is there is "enormous" "Free will"(Democracy)-so common people(who can not understand tough,hi-sounding Religious terms) are "Encouraged By God ("Aham Srjaami") to worship-with any names-forms-idols-Symbols-rituals etc.Only those people once in a millenium "Electrify" the atmosphere with "Miracles"-they think when "Other" Rreligious people can do the gimmics with miracles "why not we also?-like Idols drinking milk!!!!! Brahma Gjnaanis were only "laughing" within themselves.
