I read a story on the news this morning about a collage that installed a unisex bathroom in the dorm. I had to use the bathroom in a resterant in lower Manhatten last year. I followed the "restroom" sign downstares and the bathroom was one big bathroom with all stalls and no urinals and men and woman went together. It was not like u could lock the door while your in there it was all use at the same time. I thought it was really hot but I have some friends that have a problem with it. What do u think?

People who take a dump together stay friends forever.

I would use a unisex in any upscale place with attendants keeping it very clean. Never in a bar or dive or chain restaurant. If I were designing a unisex bathroom it would be brightly lit and spacious with music or white noise. Men don't bother me as much as dried flowers or potpori in public restrooms. I always think the leaves have absorbed fart odors. Very bad feng shui.

As long as there are available urinals, it would be fine with me. I don't want to be forced to sit down every time, or pee into a bowl standing up with all the splashback that entails. I think if they want unisex bathrooms, men should still have urinals available.

I think that unisex bathrooms would become a problem due to men and women being in such close proximity. Comments would be made and people would get offended about things.

Stalls imply a certain amount of privacy. I've been to a club that just has stalls you can use but the doors can be locked from the inside.

I dont see any difference between going in one of them and using one in a row of Portable toilet. They often have at big outdoor events.

As a man this does not bother me. I can't tell you how many concerts or sporting events I've been to with women in the Men's room.Even some bars. However if that situation were reversed the guy would be arrested. Where's the equality?

I think I would rather use a bathroom that is just for women and let the men keep theirs. I mean, why would you think it was really hot? That is why it is not okay to have a unisex bathroom because most people only want to do their business and go, not to consider it hot.

Nope...As long as my privacy is assured. Everyone adult I know accepts the different style utilized by each gender to urinate. We all have BM"s the same way. I have no interest in viewing the penis of a random male. As well, I have never smelled anyone's BM that smells like fruit salad. When I have to pee, I have to pee. Sometimes it's more convenient to use a males restroom.

As long as there's a door on the stall, I don't care.

It's a bathroom... you go in to do your business and be done with it. It's not exactly a place *I* would go for a social gathering or to meet people.
