I hit a pretty decent size puddle doing about 40-45 mph. Now my horn sounds like I have a rag in it. What happend to it and how can I fix it. I do not want to pay a small fortune going to a dealer.
I have a 05 Dodge Stratus SXT 2.7
It happened 3 days ago.

Its probably full of water. You might try taking it off and letting it sit out in the sun for a day or so to see if the water evaporate. otherwise the elements in side are ruined and your going to have to replace the horn, because they are riveted together and cant be taken apart.

you got water in it if you dont take the water out you will end up buying a new horn
