First of all, he only admitted to killing the dogs, that does not mean that is all that he did. Also, the dogs that were killed were the lucky ones because they got put out of their misery .He had a whole lot that suffered every single day because of the dog fighting. Also, the dogs that were used as bait to toughen up the dogs.
The NFL is doing this because of the uproar of the public, and they don't want to look bad. I'm glad they did it. It means that they don't only care about winning players.
Michael Vick should have gotten a more strict punishment. ...By the way, do you even LIKE animals?

He broke his contract with the NFL for betting on the dogs. They are all over paid. The people caring for abused animals are the one's that deserve to be rich. Not lying dog killing cowards like Vick.

I am sorry but he should of thought about that before he put inocent dogs in the ring to fight.. No he shouldnt keep the money he illegally gambled.. And supported the dog fights this is a role model? Im sorry but they need to inforce the laws to protect the dog because what happened to the dogs?? Many of them uthinized. Is that fair for the dogs to be put down because of those idoits. OHH A fellow teamate said it was like hunting. How is that hunting??? And for the owner like myself afraid of loosing their dog because of this. Its not fair for the owners who take care of the pitbulls. And let me tell you pitbulls are the most loyal and a family pet.Why punish the people who care for the pitbulls and punish the ones who dont.. they target the dogs! not the people....

I think there isn't a book that's big enough to throw at him.
His conduct violated the terms of his NFL contract, therefore they are fully justified in trying to recoup the money and banning him (hopefully) from the sport for life.
If he didn't read the text of his contract, or if he thought his talent meant that the rules "didn't apply to him" then he has no one but himself to blame for his stupidity and arrogance.
If he didn't realize what he did was wrong, then he wouldn't have LIED about it earlier this spring.

He is a public figure with no regard for life.
Children lookup to him we can't let them think this is okay or that this is an excusable offense. There is no excuse and it is against the law!!! Its about time officials did something. Im in Cincinati the bengals are on the news daily but never get in enough trouble to quit their shenanigans.

The NFL suspended him because he financed a gambling operation. Gambling alone is grounds for suspension according to NFL policy.

He committed a felony.
When you commit a felony, you get punished and you suffer consequences (loss of job, loss of money, ostracism, etc.)
End of story.
