if you go to aveda they just opened a line of men's products and there is a pomade made for asian hair and if you go to aveda you can see a picture of the asian guy who had his hair styled wtih the pomade it is fairly simple if you leave the top longer and cute some off the bottom so yes it is a slight very gentle mohawk and in the morning you just put the tiniest bit of pomade in the top and blow dry it up and it will fall better after you move around, it might sound sort of complex but its really easy and looks nice, too much gel looks bad.

You look A LOT like my brother :D He uses gatsby in the green tub. As for styling, I'm not sure how spiky you want it soo.. here's a link with a bunch of youtube hair vids
