eBay charges a posting fee for each item listed via the seller, mich like a newspaper charges an advertising fee to list something in the paper as being for sale. It's best to try craigslist.com or some motorcycle selling services.

eBay charge to list an ad the cost is related to the price you ask - if it doesnt sell you can relist it & if it sells they refund the 2nd charge then theres the final sale value approx 5% to be paid & if you agree to accept PayPal theres another charge of around 3% then theres ppl who bid & later try to haggle or simply dont pay.....Im not trying to put you of eBay is very good but you need to take these costs into account before setting the price you want.....I usually monitor what other similar items sell for before setting a price not to low so if only 1 person bids you lose out & not higher than any others on sale................................ another site you could try is Gumtree.com they have listings for most cities & its FREE!!
