Go to a certified piercer! No, it is about the same as having an ear done. It takes a little longer to heal though so take good care of it.

I am not gonna try and act tough - I have had two tattoos and four ear piercings and I even gauged my ears to 4s and none of those came close to how bad it hurt to have my belly button pierced. I'm not kidding. And it took a long time to heal.
However - I really wanted it, and I'm glad I did it. If you really want it - then you'll go through the pain to get it.

it will hurt a little more because it isnt as quick as an ear piercing. If anything there is more skin for the needle to go through. they basically take the upper or lower (most likely lower) part of ur belly button, pinch it, clean it, then as quick as they can, push the needle through

Mine didn't hurt much at all. The part that hurt me more than the actual piercing was when they clamp your skin, and pull it out, so they can pierce it LOL.... That skin isn't the most sensitive. The pain for me was no greater than my ear piercings. It's just really important to clean it properly, so you don't get an infection.
Best wishes! =)

It does not hurt at all....just look away when they pierce it or else you'll get freaked out. They take a clamp and hold the skin tight...then they stick the needle and push the ring through...in all it only last a couple of seconds...I think you should do it ...it would look really cute

I had mine done and there was no pain whatsoever. There wasn't time. They use a little needle gun and it's really quick. There was a little soreness for awhile after it was done, but nothing to speak of. It healed completely in about 2 or 3 months. Up until that time just make sure you follow the care instructions, and avoid wearing clothes with tight waistbands.

i got mine pierced last year. it didnt really hurt to get done, but it did hurt a little bit for a few days, but nothing bad. the only problem is that it looked like it was infected (it was very red) for a couple of weeks about a month lafter i got it pierced, but it went away and turned out fine. just wash it daily, AND DONT TAKE IT OUT for about 2 or 3 months. unless u change it really quickly. but trust me u wont need to take it out. i keep mine in all the time, i hardly even realize it.

You probability tetanus and different probabilities of different risky infections, to not point out rejection, and have confidence me, a scar from a rejected abdomen ring is on no account extremely whilst it extremely is stretched out if youin case you ever develop into pregnant. Yeah, I itch for piercings too, yet wait until eventually you're older or attempt extra solid to convince your mom. that is not nicely well worth the difficulty of not having it completed by employing a expert.

For me the clamp hurt worse than anything... I didn't even feel the needle go through. But I ended up taking mine out because two years later it was causing internal stomach issues, so just be careful.

i got mine done liek 2 weeks ago and it barely hurt. it felt just liek a ear pierce. and the pain only last for about 5 seconds trust me. you just have to do wat the pierceing person says to do and it will be fine. and i suggest that you dont change the piercing ring for a while cuz then it will get infected and that hurts more then getting it pierced.
