Seems like everytime someone goes to jail or gets caught doing something wrong, they find Jesus or are sure God will forgive them.

Why does the Christian faith have so many criminals? Do they just like associating with crooks, thieves, philanderers, druggies, and con men?

Paris Hilton, Michael Vick, David Vitter, Jim Bakker, etc......the list would take all day.

Does this hurt the image of true Christians?

It hurts the image of Christians when it's a Christian for sure, but I guess I believe that hypocrisy is an all too common a human trait that many people suffer from frequently, and some more often than others. I have noticed that it is often the loudest, most offensive and the most judgmental that have the most hypocritical tendencies.

I would imagine that people in third world cultures or other countries in general pray to the god of their religion when they go to jail and say to the world that they are a saved or better person because of their belief, if it will help them in anyway. Criminal will say anything to get out of jail or make the world believe they won't do it anymore. It doesn't matter what religion they are. You hear about Christians more because you live in a Christian country.

If anyone repented his sins are forgiven and such a man become the same with other brothers and sisters and there is no distinctions. People doing very wrong thing knows there sins. It is written he who is forgiven more loves more. Heavens are glad more for one repenting sinner than for 100 righteous not having a need in repentance. A true Christian is he who more serves others and not haughty and arrogant hypocrites. When very evil people repent it proves the great power of the Lord.

The majority of our population is Christian. Its stands to reason the majority of our prison population is also Christian. But Hilton and Vick have both claimed to FIND God in prison. It looks good on your record, and there's lots of missionary work in prisons.

All Christians who are sincere about their faith are true Christians. A fundemental belief of Christianity is that all people are sinful, so it makes zero sense to say that criminals are not true Christians.

Two obvious reasons.

1. Our Criminal Justice system is run by atheists. Why else would dog fighting be a crime. Its not even mentioned in the bible. Clearly Michael Vick was not doing anything wrong when he drowned those dogs. After all God did the same thing in the flood.

2. Satan only tempts Christians he knows non Christians will burn in hell anyway. If anything the predominance of Christians in our prison proves that Satan exists and is tempting Christians which in turn proves that the bible is true.

Our legal system is clearly what is at fault when devout Christians like Paris Hilton and Mike Vick are unfairly picked on while homosexual atheists are allowed to run free.

We all have some of the criminal element in us. Jesus spent a lot of time with a reformed prostitute and worse than that , a tax collector (IRS Agent). Who is a true
christian and who is a pretender? Only God knows.

Region is not the root of all evil. It is in the hearts of all men( woman also to be PC)
The left today is the worst in time of narcissism and when they get caught instead of facing this they say they found god or go to a high dollar rehab relaxation to test message their Friends.

People of the lie like pedophiles can be found where they should never be. Like a fox guarding the hen house. Or to be camouflaged so not to be seen. A minster, Priest, Teacher, Day care worker and so on. To get to their prey they must not be spotted.

So to scape goat is to not face the very evil with in your own heart.

That's a great question. I wonder if it is true, that Christianity is starting to go down.

Granted, Christians state that God is about forgiveness, but I'm starting to wonder if this isn't about forgiveness, but harboring criminals.

Probably cause the Christian religion always talks about forgiveness and a new start in life. Many do convert while in jail. I judge no one and no, it doesn't bother me at all.

Sorry, just one thing to say to Prey Jesus.

Care to back your following statement?

"Our Criminal Justice system is run by atheists."

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.
