I'm having a halloween/slumber party for my 13th and really want to take some good pictures with a basic disposable camera. But I don't think my friends will be able to pose or get in the right positions so I can take good pictures. I was thinking if they all lay on thier backs on my trampoline with their heads nearest the middle wearing costumes or pajamas as just one picture, but any other creatives ideas that are simple to do without professional equipment? I really don't want to spend half of the party taking pictures and making people stand for ages trying to get them in a good pic.

Your idea is good for a posed picture, but generally speaking, candid shots are far more interesting. Just keep your camera handy and when you see a good shot, take it.

You might also want to consider getting some extra disposable for some of your friends and let them take some candid shots as well. That you, you will be in some of the pictures.

Take a TON of pictures. A really fun picture is feet--just everybody's feet in a circle. Another pic you might want to take is have everybody have a serious face, everyone look at the camera, and pretend to be choking or punching each other. Or have them all look scared. Have everybody on one side of the shot, looking at something scary (or just you, that would be funny), and have them all react like they are terrfied--no one looking at the camera...

Just do candids. Watch for one of them to make a funny face or something. Catch them playing a game. Your pictures will be more natural.
