were the ones who had been seduced by the "devil" and Jesus wasn't the "savior" after all?

I'm confident I'll close my eyes the final time, and wake up in the presence of a loving God. I feel that way in part because I feel the presence of a loving God all of the time.

Even if that doesn't happen, even if there is no afterlife, I still will have lived my life feeling better believing in God, than I felt when I didn't believe in God.

So if being a follower of Christ has no impact what so ever on my future, it has significantly improved the condition of my right now.

Godspeed you on your journey through life.

This question is just a variation on the "what if atheists found out they were wrong" question. Their answer would be that they wouldn't want to live forever in the company of such a crazy deity. So I assume that the Christian response would be that their idea of Jesus as savior is preferable to the alternative big-trick hypothesis, despite the consequences. And I'd have to say they would be right.

Thats reverse logic your assuming that good is evil and its not really funny at all. I would rather believe in Jesus as my savior and go to heaven then not believe in him and die to find out i was wrong and be cut off from god for eternity.

When Nebuchadnezzar ordered all of the servants of his government to bow down to the golden image and worship it or be thrown into a blazing furnace, Shadrach Meshach and Abednego refused saying. ""O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18 But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
...So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, 27 and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.

How about that! Not even the SMELL of smoke, that's the GOD we serve!

If a Christian died, and was really wrong they would rot in the dirt like everyone else. It wouldn't matter that they lived their life joyfully and morally correct. On the other hand, if an atheist died and was wrong, they would rot forever in hell-eternal tourment. Which would you rather be...dirt or burning...dirt or eternally living?

It's going to be VERY funny when you're burning in the pits of hell...I hope you like fire because you're gonna burn in it forever(If you don't change). As the scriptures say...there will be loud wailing and gnashing of teeth, boy is that going to be fun!

How would that be "funny"? I believe in God and what the bible states, and I don't think it is funny that people will go to hell if I am right.

Wouldn't it be a miracle if non-believers could actually be respectful? (Let me edit this to ALL non-believers. Because there are many Atheists/Agnostics who are very friendly and courteous. And I certainly didn't mean to imply that they are all the same! So my apologies.)

It will never happen b/c God is my savior and that's it.
