I've been on Invega for 3 weeks now, and in the last week, I have become extremely irritable and down right evil... to the point that I've punched holes in my wall.
Has anyone else had this or any similar side effect?
I called my dr. this morning, and I'm waiting for him to call back.

No, I have not experienced it but I have never taken Invega. However, I am glad you were smart enough to call your doctor. Mental or mood changes (obviously what you are experiencing) are a serious side effect of this medication.
You did not mention your dosage but the doctor can take one of two courses of action:
1. he can try lowering your dosage to see if the your mood returns to normal (irritability goes away)
2. he can take you totally off this medication and order something totally different
I suspect he will stop this medication. Don't let this upset you! Sometimes, trial and error is necessary before the best medication is found for you. This is because we are all different and there is no way to predict how a medication will affect us. Good luck!
