Mercy is not my strongsuit, it is one of the fruits I must really work to bring to bear.

We are called to be like Jesus in every way. IF we dont have mercy we dont yet know Jesus. BEing merciful tho does not mean someone that never steps on a toe by speaking Gods truths. no. JEsus was merciful and HE spoke only truth. But beauase we love them and He loves them, we will speak truths that often offend, as the Holy SPirit is bringing conviction about truth. But we let them know how eager God is to forgive them and give a new life free of sin, and that it can be done by the indwelling power of the HOly SPirit.
ITs not merciful to ignore what is sin and not warn ppl. This is one of the things God commands us to do, teaching HIs full message, and a whole lot of that was a warning about sin and how the devil would come to steal our salvation away.
Love meaning warning. NO love means ignoring. YEs I am merciful but I speak truth without fear or compromise.

I think so. I know that I am not perfect, and sometimes I make mistakes and need the forgiveness of those whom I have wronged. That doesn't mean, however, that I will tolerate any and every slight without protest. I also believe in justice.

That would depend on wether the person deserves it or not. It's not my job to make thier mistakes "easier". They should have screwed up if they didn't want it to happen.

Not really. I find it more effective to treat my friends as friends and my enemies as enemies.
I try to avoid being fake and a hypocrite.
