Ok to be stright up with everyone.

I met someone recently that I'm very attracted to, seriously. Not just for looks but just because this person is beautiful inside and out. Last night they admitted to me that they were HIV positive.

I wasn't freaked out or anything. I was just sorry for them.

What should I do? Can some one who is negative be with a positive person if they are very careful?

mack j, its obvious he means they as in them, and to answer your question, yes they can but only if they are willing to take all and i mean ALL the saftey precautions that come with the HIV territory. Infected people arent monsters, they are people just like us who need love. My suggestion to you, is to go get educated on the matter.

Supposedly, yes. But you must be checked all the time, and make sure you don't have any other relationship for many months if you break up, until you test negative like after 6 months. However, I must admit that I wouldn't start a relationship (especially a sexual one) with an HIV positive person. I wouldn't break up with my husband if he had HIV, but I wouldn't start something new with the potential danger to get HIV, which will be there, no matter how careful you both are.

Thats a tough one
If it doesnt work out u can live through a life of hard times living with HIV.
If it does work out u got true love for life.

yes you can... just be very, very careful... you might also want to do some research on line. Ask you doctor what precautions to take.
