If the rider knows what they are doing. I just wouldn't get on the interstate unless you are towing the horse in a trailer. We have people that use horse and buggies down here on the interstate and farm equipment. They have signs up so drivers should be watching for them. We also get cows in the road sometimes. You never know if a rock will fly up and hit your horse. ;)

there is not any rationalization why they must no longer use the roads. Even here interior the country the place I stay they particularly situations ought to apply the roads to get entry to bridleways etc. I agree they must no longer be allowed to apply considerable roads. It looks like those women folk have been notably silly if no longer irresponsible using on one in each of those busy highway rather because it type of feels between the horses could no longer cope with automobiles. That suggested, the everyday public of riders I bump into are very in charge on the roads. in the event that they are no longer then as your tale exhibits they and/or their horses get injury.

yes definetly, horse owners take the risk of their horses getting hurt and car drivers take the risk of a set back. Anyway horses have been here long before cars were even thought of! I am not against cars or anything of course, horses aren't on any major roads or shouldn't be and typicly the riders clean up after them selves.

In law the horse has the right of passage. They may seem dangerous on a narrow road, but if you hit one the chances are it will be your fault. This happened to a friend of mine and he is a policeman. That is how I know.

That's a tough one, I dodge horse and buggies every time I head out of the city. It is kinda nice and quaint but I aways worry one will spook but so far none have. So I guess as long as both drivers can control their perspective vehicles than I see no real problem.

No, I live in Ohio, which is like Amish country. They slow traffic, dangerous to regular traffic, and the horses poop on the roads! They don't even pay taxes, and still use public roads.
