Has anyone changed so far?

The greatest miracle is when people come to faith in Jesus Christ. Sooo many have changed so far.

Evil Kenevil used to be an atheist. But suddenly faith found him while walking on the street. He gave his testimony in the Chrystal Palace, And many came to Christ because of his tesitimony. I can do a search on it because I have an article in my computer somewhere. But it would take time. I recall it happened last year or early this year.

This is one person. And I have heard of other Athiests who turned to Christ. One tried to prove the bible wrong by using computer with the bible, then found out how well written the bible actually is. So? He turned to Christ.

Another did who was in a cell with a bible, then prayed, "If you are real, & the God of this bible, please let me know someone loves me.". When he left the jail, then someone who loved him was looking for him. He returned to Christ again. And God restored His life.

Only these 3 come to mind right now, but then there are many more.

I've thought for a bit about your question and I can't come up with a yes or a no. Everything around us is miraculous, and I have a hard time understanding how anyone wouldn't believe in God, He's so obvious! Yet, I do know some folks who have gone from atheists, to agnostics, to believers, or they've skipped right into believing. Some miracles are so hard to miss, those who don't believe must begin to, or check themselves into a mental institution. lol God never gives up on us. We are His children, and He loves us more than we can comprehend. He's not gonna let us go easily. And God usually gets what He wants I imagine.

Blessed Be

I'm still an atheist, but I've become a lot more accepting of the believer's viewpoint since I came to R&S. I now appreciate that "spirituality" requires a Solipsistic viewpoint and, unlike the majority of my fellow atheists, I do think God manifests Himself in the subjective experience of believers and that this can have a positive effect for the believer. Except when angry with fundamentalists, I generally do not want to discard religion from our culture because moderate religion often acts as a stabilizing influence.

On the other hand, the scientific revolution was absolutely necessary because Western Civilization and Christianity was originally based on an erroneous premise. Only the physical realm is actually real. Subjective experience is an illusion created by our minds, based on limited information about the physical realm provided by our five senses, and modulated by our expectations. Before the scientific revolution, all believers thought God existed in their subjective experience and none worried about the physical realm because everyone assumed Aristotle was correct in that the physical was an illusion created by the mind. If one thinks carefully, it is easy to see that the scientific revolution simply redefined what humanity considers reality -- from subjective experience, to objective (physical) reality. God still exists where He always has, in the subjective experience of those who believe. God does not exist where He never has, in objective (physical) reality. Unfortunately, the scientific revolution caused religious people to simply assume that God also exists in the physical realm. There is no evidence to support this assertion, except for the faithful's stubborn insistence that God cannot be limited exclusively to subjective experience.

I am an atheist because I know beyond all doubt that the physical realm is absolutely real. I also know that Christians have had four-hundred years to provide supporting evidence for their position that God exists in the physical. They have failed utterly and I now have no choice but to assume their assertion that God exists in objective reality is utterly false. The "miracle by God" I would like to see is for Christians to realize that their God is entirely spiritual and exists entirely in their subjective experience (as He always has). This would allow Christians to stop making fools of themselves and leave science to the scientists. Science would not be a threat to religion, if religion returned to its roots and again became purely spiritual. It is only the unproved assertion that God is physical which drives me and millions of other educated people to become atheists.

I think organized religion needs to take a long hard look at what it stands for and accept that it must change it's dogma in response to the truth, if it is to survive.

God is not a magician to perform miracles .miracles are sights that we do not understand .they are produced by our ignorance .Atheists want acceptable and scientific proof for anyting that we say existing .they are right .Those who say that something exists should be able to prove it .it should not be difficult .Ignorance is the foundation of miracle .I think that god isd not founded on ignorance . theists should claim to have the right to be ignorant .Theists can also be intelligent .if they have an open mind they will be knowledgeable .Turh is a fact .god id is a fact and god id truth .Why should atheists fear to prove the existence opf god ? Atheists will prove it !So real atheists are those who tell a lie that they believe in god while they do not know what god is.Rt.?.

Atheism is the first step. People get tired of multiple gods, vedas, preachings and the dominance of gurus and their advises, packed and threw away god and their books. If any one preaches a sensible god and a practical way of living they will accept. This miracle was done by Mohamed. Islam is the next step after atheism.

I would not say it would be a miracle, but maybe pragmatism.

It's more comfortable and easy to delegate problems and wishs to "God" or a higher instance than solving it on ones own.

Circumstances in a lifes journey change a persons persepective. Now , depending upon the individuals emotional & rational belief, his conviction may or may not change. If it does it is a miracle, if it doesnot , it is status-quo......

Remember...Change is the only constant in life.....

If atheists change to what?

Do not be surprised currently to find out that 'tests' (plural) have been given to Christians' (in the USA, and possibly worldwide), of which many 'Christians' have not passed those 'tests' and 'Christians' illogic is turning off many 'atheists' currently.

You mean against their will? God is NOT a rapist! He will respect your defiance, even if it means throwing you a rope while you're on a thousand foot cliff, and allowing you to throw it back. You can be as independent as you like. Just don't complain at the outcome. You really DO get what you ask for.
