I don't get it all all. I've seen several responses to this Vick case saying that he shouldn't really be punished very much because animals aren't as important as human beings. What the heck? Who cares if they aren't as important-you think a monetary fine is acceptable for torturing, maiming, and killing any creature is acceptable? I believe that any human who can cruelly torture any creature (especially if you believe god created everything) deserves to be punished-not slapped on the wrist and patted on the head.
What do you think? Is it very christian to torture and abuse? I thought all sins were the same-so how can you poo-poo this issue and then get all up in arms about someone being gay?

I know. So much for Christian morality, right? My mom has always been a huge animal lover so I grew up around animals. I know my dog is a lot smarter than CJ is.

Sorry it incredibly isn't animal cruelty. Dew claws may be broken surely by a canines working throughout the time of the bush or besides the fact that. Having them bumped off at 3 days previous is the best factor of do. now and returned the mum canines will chew the dew claws off herself. Tail docking has been finished for years. Do you think of boxers and poodles are born with those tiny tails? Nope. This guy looks expert and makes use of the appropriate kit and meds. How do you already know he's not a vet. If he have been cropping ears i could say it is cruelty. Floppy eared canines are born that way for a reason.

I think that anyone who tortures an animal should get the same punishment as anyone who tortures a human being. Despite what some people may think, animals have feelings too. They think, move, breathe, eat, sleep, and have emotions and personalities just like humans. Just because they don't speak a clear language as we do, people seem to think that they are less than we are. It's a bunch of crap, if you ask me. Animals deserve to be treated well just as humans do.

And a Golden star for you! ^_^

The worst are the kind who take advantage over something so innocent, so pure, that there is no punishment fit for them!

No matter the circumstance, there is no justifying what he has done. May peace be upon those who have been wronged. My heart bleeds just thinking about it.
Gosh, now I'm getting that stupid lump in my throat! I hate that.

Why the thumbs down? I'd like to argue with you.

Here's how this works: If a rich athlete tortures dogs, thousands will rise to excuse him. If a bunch of poor blue-collar types do the same thing, there won't be a word spoken in their defense. That's what it all really boils down to.

I do not think that the majority of Christians believe he should just get a slap on the wrist. I for one do not. No matter what he did wrong! He sinned and God can forgive him or not. But he still did wrong.

Yes, you're exactly right. Torturing and killing is WRONG--no matter what the circumstance. Michael Vick is a sick murderer and should be punished as so.

I'm with you. I think I'm fuming over the same answer you are, probably.

Anyone who can abide the idea of purposely causing a living creature pain and suffering is less than human in my eyes.

Now what could possibly make people believe that animals are to be used for whatever purpose we see fit? There's something...I think it starts with B and ends with -ible. Not sure though.
