thanx and kenuheerme true dog lovers like the other people who answered my question actually love dogs. it sounds like you hate them. No, i dont expect thank you cards, flowers or an annerversary. I just want them to get enough attention. For them to know that they are loved.

Satisfying a dogs needs is the best way to love them. Exercise us vert important so make sure you are giving your dogs plenty of high energy exercise. Socialization is important too. Take them on walks, to dog parks, petsmart, or any place that they can become accustomed to people and other pets. This also lets them satisfy their curiosity. Train them so they will be obedient. You never know when you will need to tell your dog to stay or get back or heel to prevent them from gettin hit by a car or to avoid a dog fight. Give them a high quality food with little to no fillers for nutrition. Carrots for treats also help fight bacteria that cause peridontis disease. Most of these things may not seem like love but they are things you should consider if you love your dog. It's more than just playing and snuggling its about satisfying the dogs drives and basic needs.

Some kind of obedience work is crucial to building a relationship with your dogs. Find a trainer who only uses positive reinforcement. Basic obedience can be expanded into advanced work, agility, rally-obedience, free-style dancing, etc. Obedience work should be fun for both you and the dog. Good luck!

You're doing just fine! That Dog Whisperer guy Cesar Milian says that what dogs need most are 1)Exercise, 2)Discipline, and 3) Affection, in that order, so as long as your dogs are getting adequate playtime and exercise, proper discipline, and lots of snuggles, you're doing right by them.

Short of makimg sure that they get the shots and see the vet when sick - you are doing okay... occasionally treats would work... ride in the car, walk in the parks, swimming in a kiddie pool...

as it is, it sounds like you really do love your dogs! but if you want them to feel really loved, take them on lots of walks. dogs love that so much! plus that will get them and you some extra exercise!

Make sure they're healthy. True dog lovers brush their dogs teeth, their fur, etc. It sounds like they're getting spoiled anyway, so don't worry! :]
